Stacked and tarnished industrial railroad plates. These were stacked and sorted into a pile near a small train station, and they became ingredients for the first in a series of three industrial railroad photographs.

This image was created at Bill Monroe's bluegrass campground in Indiana. As you might expect, there are quite a few rusted-out and immobile vehicles at the bluegrass legend's campground. An old tour bus also sits - now stationary - nearby.
This image was captured accidentally, and has not been altered digitally in any way. The image you see is exactly as it appears on the negative. That's not to say, however, that everything is as it appears. I was using the slowest shutter speed on my camera (30sec.) to take pictures of the moon, but I bumped the tripod and the object that deceptively appears to be the sun is actually an overexposed moon.
